PUNLOCK Command

Purpose: 

Marks files as purgeable from the disk cache in which they reside. This undoes the effect of a previous "plock" command. 

Aliases: 

 

Command Format: 

punl[ock] [-h] [-L] [-P] [-R] path ...

Options: 

-h : read through symlinks as if they were regular files/directories [default: ignore symlinks]

-L : operate on the normal PURGELOCK flag (the default if neither -L nor -P is specified)

-P : operate on the SUPER PURGELOCK flag (restricted to authorized users)

-R : recursively traverse directories in the specified path(s)

Usage Notes: 

1. -L and -P are mutually exclusive options.

2. -P is restricted to authorized users.

punlock -R *.c project_dir
